PSICHORA, The Soul-Land
IF YOU ARRIVED HERE WITH CURIOSITY AND AN OPEN HEART, YOU ARE ALREADY PART OF THIS STORY. WELCOME…
I’ve always felt that I was born with the heart of an artist—drawn to beauty not only for its aesthetic charm, but for its power to elevate, to heal, and to quietly transform the world around us. From my earliest memories, I’ve been captivated by the interplay between form and function: the elegance of a well-designed garment, the grace of a practical object made with care, the way colour and texture can speak without words.
My interests have never fit neatly into one box. I’ve wandered through the worlds of fine art, fashion design, and interior aesthetics, while also nurturing a deep curiosity for art history, philosophy, astronomy, geometry, physics, and biology. These fields, though seemingly disparate, have always felt connected to me—threads in a larger tapestry of understanding and wonder.
Of course, life doesn’t always offer equal space for every passion. When the time came to choose a profession, I searched for a path that could honour the full spectrum of my God-given interests. I found it in the finesse of visual arts which allowed me to depict our world—the planet Earth—as a living canvas. Through this lens, I’ve been able to explore, express, and share the quiet truth that moves me, and to invite others into that experience through the stories I tell and the art pieces I create. My journey as an artist has been neither simple nor brief. For those drawn to the earlier chapters of my life, I invite you to visit a space where my fine art career and creations still live and breathe.
Over time, I came to understand that none of this was accidental. The events of my life, the interests that shaped me, the paths I followed and those I left behind—all were threads in a larger tapestry, woven by a hand far greater than mine. Each curiosity, each discipline I explored, was preparing me for a new revelation: the birth of a different kind of creation.
That revelation arrived in the form of scarves—designed from my own visions, shaped by the knowledge I had gathered and continue to seek. It felt like a divine whisper, guiding me toward a new expression of beauty and meaning. The works of the Lord are truly incomprehensible, and yet they leave unmistakable footprints on the heart.
As my silk scarf collection grew, I knew it needed a home—not just a website, but a sanctuary. A space infused with the life-giving energies of love, kindness, and quiet reflection. A place where kindred souls could gather, feel seen, and perhaps find something that speaks to their own journey.
And so, Kolovrat was born.
FROM KOLOVRAT TO PSICHORA, THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
What began as Kolovrat — a seed of vision — has later evolved into PSICHORA, the soul-land free of geographical or national limitations where design, elegance and meaning converge.
This transformation was not a replacement alone, but a natural unfolding: Kolovrat, the true steward, initiated and carried the first flame, while PSICHORA steps out free as the radiant keeper of the limitless land ruled by love and enlightenment.
Days (sometimes weeks) of preliminary research and a deep internal connection with each next scarf’s imagery create a special state—where, while shaping one design, I already glimpse the next path I’ll take, the next idea I’ll explore. Though still subtle, almost intuitive, these visions stir a new world of beauty, expressed through chosen images, colours, and effects that speak on an emotional level.
Some might call it “obsession”—others may sense where such a word arises. That’s fine. This world isn’t easily grasped at first glance.
I share the stories of my scarves with those whose hearts are open and free from premature judgement, whose minds are ready to explore beyond the accepted. My silk scarves speak to those whose imagination knows no bounds—who dare to question the “known” and view it through a previously unseen, even socially unconventional lens.
PSICHORA silk scarves are born from a rhythm of intuition and emotional resonance, where each design whispers the next into being. They speak not to the hurried or the conventional, but to those who seek beauty as rebellion—who listen with open hearts and dare to see the world anew:
- Creative intuition becomes prophecy — each design births the next, not through logic, but through a felt resonance with colour, emotion, and unseen possibility.
- This is not obsession—it is devotion — a sacred rhythm of image and idea that defies quick comprehension, inviting only those who listen with open hearts and unbound minds.
- These silk scarves speak to the seekers — to those who question the “known,” who embrace beauty as rebellion, and who dare to see the world through emotionally charged, socially unorthodox lenses.
THE 4-PART OVERVIEW OF MY PROCESS OF CREATION
In my practice, each idea finds its own way to reveal itself—sometimes it lands quietly on the edge of the plywood where the current design project is stretched, other times it emerges while reading about a newly discovered scientific marvel. It may dance around images or artefacts from past eras, or simply rest on a gorgeous flower I pass by. Ideas have a habit of remaining beautifully unpredictable, like mysterious guests from another realms.
What stays constant is how I hear myself—that subtle inner voice of soul we often overlook. I’ve learned to notice its vibrations, and they’ve never failed me. But there is even more in that: they’ve helped me know myself more deeply and build a far stronger, more rooted self-trust. Yet it takes courage to follow that voice—and to remain accountable for the choices it inspires.
Part I: Laying the Foundation
- Discover what your heart desires, keep mind open
- See your skills which may it deliver, keep advancing
- Find how to apply your idea practically, be objective
Part II: Beginning the Research
- Read lots of related & respected books/ authors
- Look every direction for related yet trusted information
- Learn from already existing in the field, but never copy
Part III: sketching the idea
- Visualise ideas on paper in general, follow your inner vision
- Select every detail you wish to incorporate into your project, be picky
- Never hesitate applying changes until satisfied, avoid rushing
Part IV: Finishing with precision
- Proceed by the plan of actions in the selected media
- Apply best skills and attention to details & general outcome
- Live test the project model before going production
I CREATE NOT TO IMPRESS, BUT TO INVITE IN THE WORLD OF LOVING ENERGIES OF THE UNIVERSE
Each silk scarf is a scroll—an offering to those who see beyond the surface and feel the pulse of quiet beauty. Within its folds lies a story, waiting to be discovered.
These silk scarves are not just garments—they are invitations. To feel, to question, to remember. To walk gently into beauty with an open heart.
I invite you to dive deeper into these narratives, where unexpected truths may emerge—gifts revealed only to those who pause, reflect, and recognize their quiet value.
In each PSICHORA blog post, you’ll find:
- A decoding of the imagery—revealing the symbolic meanings behind each visual element.
- Historical and scientific references—connecting the design to timeless knowledge and earthly wonder.
- Energetic insights—exploring the specific vibrations chosen for each scarf and the impact they’re intended to create.
